While offering a rigorous academic environment, New Canaan High School also maintains a tradition of excellence in interscholastic athletics, with over 75% of the students participating. The school's philosophy is not only to challenge its students, but also to find the right place for every student, whether an artist, athlete, performer or technician.
Football, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, baseball, field hockey, ice hockey, swimming, volleyball, crew, and track and field are all offered at the High School.
