A resident of New Canaan since 1973, Barbara Cleary began her real estate career in 1975, opening her own company, The Realty Guild, Inc., in 1986. Located in 'the heart of the village' the office is a welcoming first stop for many relocated buyers.

As the Christie's Great Estates affiliate for the area, Barbara Cleary is associated with the world's most recognized name in the art of marketing. This International network provides extensive marketing and internet exposure for properties worldwide.

Named to The Board of Regents for Luxury Real Estate.com, Barbara is also an award winning member of RELO and a member of The Registry, a national network of leading real estate brokers. Locally, the firm is the Connecticut affiliate for Westchester Real Estate, a New York City/Westchester network.

As Broker-Owner, Barbara is a consistent sales producer as well as manager. She has an excellent reputation for creative marketing, negotiations, agent training and expansive national connections.

Involved in the community, Barbara has served on the Board of Directors of the United Way of New Canaan and the Bank of New Canaan. She has also been a sponsor and Director of Kid's Care Clubs, now 'Points of Light', as well as Young Life, a local youth program. Barbara is presently on The Board of Directors of the Village Association of New Canaan and is a sponsor of "The Village Holiday Stroll" at Christmas time.

Barbara has lived in Villanova, PA. and on Palm Island, Miami Beach, FL before moving to New Canaan.
